LFW: Rana Daggubatti, Malaika Arora Khan, Amy Jackson, Esha Gupta Walk The Ramp

[tps_footer]It is truly said that most of us save the best for the last, and this was thoroughly proved at this year’s Lakme Fashion Week (LFW). The audience was in for a surprise and royal trea,t because the final day of the fashion event was a star studded affair. We saw a host of stars walking the ramp supporting their favorite designers.

We saw our dusky bomb shell Malaika Arora Khan Walk the ramp in a golden off shoulder choli with a skin fitted high waist lehnga with a long slit. The dress kept many in the audience guessing for more. The star looked every bit of a show stopper for the evening in that Arpita Mehta creation. We loved her sleekly back combed and tied hair which was welcomed as a fresh change.

Ridhi Mehra chose none other than Esha Gupta to present to the audience her show stopper dress. Esha looked ravishing in the black Embellished peplum styled gown. The cut and the fit of the gown complimented her personality, and the color was just perfect for this model turned actress.

The grand surprise of the event was when we saw Amy Jackson and Rana Daggubatti walk the ramp as the show-stopper for the designer Anushree Reddy. The designer is known for her subtle sense of style and the delicate use of colors which bring out the best when worn on any given occasion.

Amy turned heads as she walked wearing a pink lehnga complimented with huge earrings. The style and color quite suited this fashionable diva. We loved Rana who walked the ramp in a black bandgala and white churidar. We are all desperately awaiting the Baahubali sequel in which we last saw Rana play a fantastic role. Amy is all geared up for her next big release opposite the khiladi Akshay Kumar in her big movie venture, ‘Singh Is Bliing‘. The film is directed by Prabhudheva and releases on October 2, 2015.
