MUMBAI: Manasi Moghe won the ‘Miss Diva 2013’ contest. Now, she is all set to represent India at Moscow today November 9, 2013 for the coveted title of ‘Miss Universe 2013’.
Year 1994, Sushmita Sen got the first Miss Universe Crown to India; year 2000, Lara Dutta did this the second time around and brought back the crown. But, post that none of the girls have been able to make a mark at the Miss Universe pageant.
To Be crowned as Miss India was her childhood dream. Manasi Moghe is very hopeful, positive and an optimistic person. She is feeling very special about being crowned the ‘Miss Universe India’. Manasi is an engineer by profession and now a beauty queen. She is hoping to clinch the title, as it would give her a global platform that would allow her to connect, communicate and influence people.
She is an Indian beauty who is a perfect blend of modern and traditional values.
Manasi’s parents Dr Milind and Dr Jayashree, feel very optimistic about their daughter getting the crown back to India after a long gap of thirteen days. Manasi has been encouraged by her family and friends as they are sure that she has it in her to be a winner.
Coming back to the ‘Miss Universe Pageant’, Manasi has really worked very hard and has been very focused about getting the crown back.
Manasi is the current hot favorite amongst all the beauty queens who are participating in this year’s pageant. She enjoys dancing, singing, listening to music, traveling and playing volleyball. She did her schooling in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and later completed a Bachelor of Engineering course from St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology in Nagpur.
