MUMBAI: Nawazuddin Siddiqui was almost not known among most people before 2012, but with roles in films like ‘Kahaani’, ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’, ‘Talaash’, ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ and ‘Bombay Talkies’, the actor has made a huge name for himself.
The actor met students of a media arts college and spoke to them about his experiences in acting.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “If you are hard-working, you will succeed in this industry. It is not always necessary to have a godfather.”
He also added a message to aspiring actors that they should “work with honesty and do the kind of cinema that excites you. It is important to experiment with different kinds of cinema.”
Nawazuddin Siddiqui will next be seen with Irrfan Khan and Nimrat Kaur in ‘The Lunchbox, which releases on 20 September, 2013.
