[tps_footer]Veteran actor Rekha was present at filmmaker Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods International Institute to attend its ‘Celebrate Cinema’ festival. The festival is a two day event which will celebrate Cinema, entertainment and education.
The inauguration ceremony was followed by a panel discussion on the new voice in Indian cinema. The esteemed panelists included Subhash Ghai, Vidya Balan, Singer Alka Yagnik, Singer Kumar Sanu, Mohit Chaudhary, Shruti Pathak and Toshi & Sharab.
Rekha looked stunning in a white designer saree as she inaugurated the festival and interacted with delegates. She was seen lighting the lamp and unveiling her beautiful sketch. “I have never asked anyone for an assignment; never asked a producer or a director for a role,” Rekha told students while attending the festival with Subhash Ghai.
Actress Vidya Balan was also in attendance wearing a red Sabyasachi saree. She was seen having one-on-one interaction with the students attending the panes discussion.
Singer Shibani Kashyap looked pretty in a white top and designer skirt. Director Govind Nihalani was part of another panel discussion which discussed socially responsible film-making.
Actor Rohit Roy was also in attendance.
The two-day film extravaganza also saw other celebs like Terrence Lewis, Mohit Chauhan, Govind Nihalani, Hansal Mehta, Diviya Dutta, Neeta Lulla, Alka Yagnik, Shweta & Shraddha Pandit, Shalmali Kholgade, Shruti Pathak, Tulsi Kumar, Shibani Kashyap, Mohd Imran and Hemant Mishra among others gracing the event.
Whistling Woods International kick started its 2-day event ‘Celebrate Cinema’ today which is touted to be India’s largest film, entertainment and education festival. This 2-day extravaganza was grander than its past two seasons, the festival was inaugurated by the evergreen actress Rekha and showman Subhash Ghai and witnessed the presence of many other legendary artists from B-wood.
