[tps_footer]With just day’s left for Amole Gupte’s Hawaa Hawaai to release, one can see a lot of Bollywood Celebrities attending the special screening of the film.
Actor Saqib Saleem, who dons the character of a skating coach in the film was spotted at the screening of Hawaa Hawaai. He looked cool and sporty in a while shirt and a pair of denims.
Filmmaker Karan Johar too was spotted at the screening of Hawaa Hawaai, which is receiving tremendous critical acclaim. Amol Gupte’s wife Deepa Bhatia and son Partho Gupte accompanied Karan Johar. Partho Gupte, has earlier featured in his father’s film Stanley Ka Dabba for his he had got a National Award as well.
Karan Johar, who is closely associated with Amole’s wife Deepa Bhatia, who edits Karan’s films, saw Hawaa Hawaai and loved it.
“It’s important for the film to reach out to the audience that loves Karan Johar’s cinema. Every child has the potential to be a Karan Johar provided he isn’t told to curb his dreams,” he said.
For Amole Gupte, Hawaa Hawaai is an emotional journey and he has dedicating this film to his father Sudhakar Laxman Gupte, who passed away earlier this month.
“My father was able to see the film before he was gone. That means the world to me. The film is dedicated to him. My life is dedicated to him,” said an emotional Amole.
Amol is thankful to Ajay Devgn because had it not been for for Ajay, Amole would not have been able to meet his father for the last time.
“We were shooting for Singham 2 on April 28, 2014 when Ajay received the news that his father, Veeru Devgan was unwell, Ajay immediately rushed off to meet him. I suddenly had two days off. Without a second thought, I bundled into my car with my wife Deepa and son Partho and we drove off to Pune to meet my father. Two days later, he was suddenly gone. I now think back and wonder what I would have felt if I had not met him then. I’ve only Ajay to thank for being able to see my father one last time,” recalled Amol, who is acting in Singham 2.
The other celebrities who attended the screening of Hawaa Hawaai were; Ekta Kapoor, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Rajkummar Rao, Anwita Paul, Huma Qureshi, Maria Goretti and many more.
