Karan Johar, Anupam Kher his wife Kirron Kher, Siddharth Kak, Nitin Mukesh, Vaibhavi Merchant and many more celebrities were seen at a party hosted by newly weds Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra in Mumbai on Sunday, May 04, 2014.

Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra had a quite wedding in Italy on April 21, 2014. Immediately after that, Yash Raj Studios had released a statement about the wedding after which Rani Mukerji too came out in the open to shared the good news with her fans.

For all her denials about the affair, Rani Mukerji honoured the promise she made to her fans in an interview to me, way back in 2007. She vowed that when she gets married she will let the whole world know and to be fair she did that.

“Why would I ever need to hide the news of my marriage? I can’t relate with people who hide their marriage. It’s a beautiful thing, so why hide it? But there is not even an iota of truth in this news. I mean, first I need to find a man with whom I want to have a relationship with. Marriage will follow later. And let me assure you that the day I decide to get married, you won’t need to hear about it from my sources. I’ll happily tell my neighbours and their neighbours also,” Rani had stated years ago.

Since very close family members and selected friends including Karan Johar and choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant had attended the wedding, the couple threw a private dinner for their loved ones.

As usual the media shy and never to be seen Aditya Chopra could not be captured by the shutterbugs. Aditya Chopra has got married at the age of thirty, to his high school sweetheart, Payal Khanna.

An interior designer by profession, Payal was an active participant while designing the grand Yash Raj Studios in suburban Mumbai. But after eight long years of marital status, the couple parted ways.
