MUMBAI: Pran sahab was an eminent Bollywood star for many years. Seven decades of his life were spent in Bollywood, during which he worked with many stars. Many of these actors were seen at the prayer meet held for Pran sahab.

Amitabh Bachchan, with whom Pran sahab starred in many movies like ‘Don’, ‘Zanjeer’, and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, came along with his wife Jaya Bachchan. Dilip Kumar, who makes very few appearances, came with his wife Saira Banu.

Also to be seen were yesteryear stars Suresh Oberoi, Gulshan Grover, Randhir Kapoor and Chunky Pandey. Of the people seen at the funeral, Raza Murad was present at the prayer meet.

Also seen for a short while were Farooque Shaikh, Dalip Tahil and Jackie Shroff.

It was good to see so many of his contemporaries turn up for the prayer meet. With him even in his last moments.
