MUMBAI: A lot of Bollywood celebrities have been to the hospital recently, be it either for surgeries (Hrithik Roshan) or from internal illness (Dilip Kumar). Ranveer Singh was admitted into hospital last week due to dengue.
The ‘Ram-Leela’ actor has finally been discharged from hospital, but has been advised to spend his time resting, instead of immediately getting back on sets.
Ranveer Singh had contracted dengue when he was shooting in the coal mines of Durgapur in West Bengal for his upcoming film ‘Gunday’. The actor continued shooting instead of getting treatment, leading to the dengue spreading in his body.
Since he will be appearing in ‘Ram-Leela’ opposite Deepika Padukone soon, Ranveer Singh will be happy to get back to his feet.
‘Ram-Leela’ director Sanjay Leela Bhansali had cancelled the event to launch the music of the film because he wanted his leading man Ranveer Singh by his side. ‘Ram-Leela’ releases on 15 November, 2013.
