He has written the script for many famous Indian movies that have become blockbusters for example, Naam, Kabzaa, Toofan, Jurm, Akayla, Patthar Ke Phool, Mast Kalandar, Aa Gale Lag Jaa, Majhdhaar, Dil Tera Diwana. Although the film which he is still admired most for is ‘Sholey’. He has his own place in our industry, but his sons Salman Khan, Sohail Khan and Arbaaz khan have made a place for themselves here which has brought him great respect and fame.
Well, all was not well health wise for Salim Khan who has been operated for Hernia at the suburban Lilavati hospital in Bandra, Mumbai. After the operation a source close to the family released a statement stating that he is currently out of the operation and is slowly progressing towards betterment.

We recently caught Salim Khan leaving Lilavati Hospital in his car wearing a white shirt looking healthy. He was received by his wife Helen from the hospital and accompanied back home. We did not get a moment to talk to him, but it was a relief to see him heading back home safely.
Looks like health has finally returned to Mr. Khan, we are sure Salman Khan must be delighted to get his strongest Daddy back home. Hope you get well soon and gift us with a surprise of a new film scripted by you for your sons.[/tps_footer]
