[tps_footer]Ek Villain is finally hitting the screens tomorrow, June 27, 2014 but prior to the films release there have been a number of special screenings of this thriller starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh.
Seen at the special screening on Ek Villain were celebrities like Tabu, Dia Mirza, Aditya Roy Kapur, Goldie Behl, Sonali Bendre, Mohit Suri with wife Udita Goswami, among others. Mohit Suir had received a lot of praise for the movie when the trailer was released some time back. It remains to be seen if the film will be appreciated as much.
Arjan Bajwa who will be seen in Bobby Jasoon walked in wearing a blue t-shirt with denims and sneakers. Aditya Roy Kapur,too came in to support Shraddha Kapoor and director Mohit Suri; the trio have worked together in Aashiqui 2.
Mohit Suri’s lead star Sidharth Malhotra, however, was all praises for his director. “Had this script involved a new director, I would not have gone for the film. I think Mohit was the right choice for the film. I was so excited because there was so much new to be done and explored,” he mentioned.
Dia Mirza, who is gearing up for the release of her film Bobby Jasoos, the following week looked pretty in a printed dress and tan sandals, while Tabu stepped out in a belted black dress with ankle-strap sandals.
Riteish Deshmukh who is all set to play a villainous role in the upcoming film Ek Villain, said that he will be a villain in the film with a love back ground. Riteish for the first time will portray the role of a villain in Ek Villain and says that unlike other films, here the villain will have a reason to become villain.
“Since childhood I have been a fan of iconic villains like Gabbar and Mogembo but these characters did not have any reason to be villain. But in Ek Villain I have a reason to become villain and the reason is love,” said Riteish.
