Directed by Tanushri Chattrji Bassu, Purani Jeans stars Tanuj Virwani who is the son of veteran actress Rati Agnihotri, Izabelle Leita who debuted in Sixteen and Aditya Seal, first seen in Ek Chotisi Love Story.

Purani Jeans is said to be a coming of age story on friendship. Tanuj will play the role of a young man from New York who returns to his home town to re-enkindle past friendships and re-live his growing-up days with his best friend, played by Aditya.

As this is Rati Agnihotri‘s son Tanuj Virwani‘s second movie, a lot is expected from him, as he couldn’t win the hearts of his fans in his first movie.

Tanuj Virwani recently said: “Being a star kid, there is an added sense of responsibility because my mother, who has been a part of the industry for thirty six years now, had such a wonderful career and such a wonderful name.

The music in the film is with is traditional Bollywood with some soulful renditions by K.K and Sona Mohapatra. Dil Aaj Kal by Sona Mohapatra leaves you spell bounded. At the screening Sona Mohapatra stunned the shutterbugs in black shorts, tank top and an Anita Dongre jacket.

Coming to the director, Tanushri Chattrji Bassu, she has set the film in picturesque locations of Himachal Pradesh. Though in her film Tanuj and Aditya play boys from Kasauli, the female lead, Izabelle Leite, who is Brazilian model turned actress, is presented as a Mumbai girl who steps into the town of Kasauli. Her character is very extrovert who is the daughter of an IAS officer.

Other celebrities who attended the screening were, Atul Agnihotri, Neil Nitin MukeshPrahlad Kakkar and his wife Mitali.
