[tps_footer]With just a couple of days left for Bobby Jasoos to hit the theaters, Vidya Balan is doing all that she can to promote her film.
Vidya Balan, who will be seen sharing the screen space with Ali Fazal in Bobby Jasoos, said she doesn’t see herself fitting into masala commercials.
“I have never planned my career. I have only responded to scripts that came my way. To be working with known actors or new actors, I don’t plan my career that way. I have a different approach. And I am very happy with the kind of work I am doing,” Vidya Balan told the media.
Meanwhile, gossip mills are abuzz that the biopic on legendary Carnatic singer M S Subbulakshmi, which Vidya Balan will be doing, is in some legal trouble. “I have no information on that. In past one year it has been put on hold. So, I dont know what is the the status,” she said.
Post Bobby Jasoos, Vidya Balan will be seen in director Mohit Suri‘s Humari Adhuri Kahaani with Emraan Hashmi and Rajkummar Rao. “I have not started any preparations for this film yet. Once Bobby Jasso is out, after that.” stated Vidya Balan with her signature smile.
Before leaving the city, Vidya Balan visited the Coloroso Sari Store to buy some series. The store’s Chanderi and Benarasi sari collection impressed Vidya so much that she shared it with everyone present and even mentioned it in the guestbook.
Store owners Tanuka Sarkar and Joydeep Roy were thrilled when Vidya picked up a tussar Benarasi sari in mus tard yellow colour.
A visibly happy Joydeep Roy said, “Vidya loved our collec tion. She promised to come back. And when she came to know that we use a part of the sale proceeds for edu cation of underprivileged children, she was even more happy to have dropped in.”[/tps_footer]
