The actress returned to India last night for her upcoming movie ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Priyanka flew down from Montreal where she is currently filming her hit international series, ‘Quantico’. The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actress has returned just for a day for a promotional event.

Dressed in black, Priyanka Chopra was nailing her airport look. She was wearing a black leather jacket probably because it is freezing cold in Montreal. She stopped for a brief moment to pose for the shutterbugs. While making her through the crowd, she even answered some media questions. She spoke about ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and her role as Bajirao’s first wife Kashibai. Priyanka said “Bajirao Mastani is a very good film. I haven’t done much in the movie. I used to just come to work, wear good clothes and act well. It is a beautiful film. I think people will really enjoy it.” When asked about the ‘Quantico’ and its success, she said “I’m thankful to the audience. I’m glad that the show is doing well”.
Priyanka will be joining Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone today at the ‘Malhari’ song launch from the movie,‘Bajirao Mastani’. Priyanka will then fly back to Montreal to resume her ‘Quantico’ shooting. She will be joining the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ team, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, in December for the full-fledged promotions.

‘Bajirao Mastani’ is a historical love story between the warrior Peshwa Bajirao portrayed by Ranveer Singh and Mastani portrayed by Deepika Padukone. Priyanka Chopra portrays the character of Bajirao’s first wife, Kashibai.
