Abhishek Bachchan’s kabaddi team, Jaipur Pink Panthers, faced their first match in the Pro Kabaddi League and celebrities showed their support to junior Bachchan.
Jaipur Pink Panthers were up against U MUMBA in the Pro Kabaddi League at the NSCI Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday.
Abhishek Bachchan‘s kabaddi team faced their rivals in the opening match of the Pro Kabaddi League. Shah Rukh Khan and the Bachchans – Aishwarya, Abhishek, Big B, Jaya and Shweta – led the celebrity roll call at the event.
Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, his wife Anjali and daughter Sara and Industrialist Anil Ambani‘s wife Tina were among the other A-list guests present for the match between Abhishek‘s Jaipur Pink Panthers and U-Mumba.
Unfortunately, Jaipur Pink Panthers lost the match to U Mumba. “Unfortunate loss last night. Thank you all so much for the support. Congratulations to @U_Mumba and @RonnieScrewvala for a deserved win,” Abhishek Bachchan tweeted.
Director Farah khan, who is working with Abhishek Bachchan in “Happy New Year,” also tweeted on her twitter handle. “Thank u @juniorbachchan 4 inviting us to the Pro Kabaddi opening!! What a fun we had!!,” she said.
“T 1158 – Pro Kabaddi today started .. Jaipur Pink Panthers v U Mumba .. we LOST !! No sweat ! great atmosphere, and great turn out .. watch,” Amitabh Bachchan tweeted.
The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) has eight teams including Bengal Warriors, Jaipur Pink Panthers, Puneri Paltan, U Mamba, Bengaluru Bulls, Dabang Delhi, Patna Pirates and Telugu Titans.[/tps_footer]
