In probably what is his first masala potboiler outing, Shahid is seen as the typical action hero, who goes to any lengths for his love interest in the film. And it sure looks like Shahid has taken his character’s chivalrous ways to heart.
Sonakshi Sinha, the poor thing, was suffering from an injury in her foot. Despite the injury, Sonakshi has been aggressively promoting both her films, R… Rajkumar and Bullett Raja, which release within a week of each other. All this hectic promotional overdrive must surely have taken a toll on the lovely lady, but she was treated to a royal welcome by her gentleman of a co-star, Shahid Kapoor.
Reportedly, Sonakshi suffered an injury while promoting her film the previous day, at a suburban Mumbai mall. Shahid, in true-blue hero fashion, helped an injured Sonakshi on to stage on the reality show. The chivalrous actor supported Sonakshi on his shoulder, and held her close as they entered the stage. She hobbled on to stage holding on to Shahid Kapoor.

Whether or not their film will be a hit, that time will tell. But what we can say for sure is that Shahid has won over many more hearts now, with his adorable, chivalrous, gentlemanly act. You go, boy!
