Hollywood stunner Sharon Stone is currently in India for the inaugural amfAR fund raising gala.
Sharon Stone, who attained international recognition for her role in Basic Instinct, feels that that the Bollywood super couple Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are very generous.
Sharon was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress and won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her performance in Casino.
Stone currently lives in Beverly Hills, California. She married television producer Michael Greenburg in 1984 on the sets of The Vegas Strip War, a television film he produced and she starred in. The couple separated three years post their marriage and their divorce was finalized in 1990.
Sharon Stone is honoured to be in India for amfAR. She is happy that they all have come together to support a great cause.
This gala night saw the renowned recording artist Kesha performing. Kesha Rose Sebert, known by her stage name Kesha, stylized as Ke$ha, is an American singer, song writer as well as a rapper.
“Aishwarya had come to Cannes as she is the L’Oreal girl. It is very gracious of her to come here. I am looking forward to see the husband and wife today (Sunday) evening. They are so generous people,” Stone told the reporters before the event started.
Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan along with several Indian celebrities and guests attended the gala event on Sunday, November 17, 2013 evening.
Sharon Stone says she loves India and wants to see the Taj Mahal.
Sharon told the press, “I love this country, India is beautiful. I am looking forward to seeing the Taj Mahal, Jaipur, Rajasthan.”
American designer and amfAR (The Foundation for AIDS Research) chairman Kenneth Cole was also present at this gala night.
