MUMBAI: While it has been known for a while that Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has lent her voice to Disney’s animation movie ‘Planes’, in India, the actress has officially announced herself as the voice of one of the characters only now.
Priyanka Chopra has lent her voice to the character of Ishani an Indian plane that crosses flight paths with an American aircraft voiced by Dane Cook, in the 3D Disney animated feature. Disney’s Planes which is described as an action-packed comedy adventure about Dusty’s dream of competing as a high-flying air racer despite his fear of heights.
Speaking about her character, Priyanka said “She’s called Ishani and she’s an Asian champion plane and is hot and sexy and she has this husky, sexy voice and she’s so adorable. I was very excited when I actually went and saw some of the stuff I did. It’s like breathing air into a cartoon and that was so cool.”
At an event to launch exclusive merchandise related to the movie, Priyanka spoke about her experience of working on a Hollywood project.
‘Planes’ is scheduled for release on August 23 in India
