MUMBAI: Trust the Showman of Bollywood to go all out for his wife. Almost the entire Bollywood fraternity came out to celebrate filmmaker Subhash Ghai’s wife Rehana’s birthday, in a big bash.
At a popular hotspot in Mumbai, Bollywood celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Sunny Deol and many others, were spotted.
Shah Rukh Khan, who has worked with Subhash Ghai in the 1997 blockbuster ‘Pardes’, was seen entering the party venue solo. Since the date coincided with his anniversary, the King Khan (suave in a sharp steel grey suit) made a quick exit too, but not before spending some quality time with Ghai and his lovely wife. SRK even planted a kiss on Ghai’s cheek before zooming off!
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan too made a grand appearance, in a black salwar suit and red sindoor. Accompanying her was her mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan, resplendent in a yellow and pink silk sari.
Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha too came for the party, bearing presents for the birthday girl. Macho man Sunny Deol made a solo entry, and mostly kept to himself at the star-studded bash.
Also spotted at the birthday party were Rishi Kapoor (sans his wife and son), Sunil Gavaskar, Veena Malik (hot and sexy in a blue chiffon sari), Ken Ghosh, Rohit and Mansi Roy, Jackie Shroff and many others.
