MUMBAI: Vidya Balan sure is a sporty actor. She has gone all out to promote her latest film – director Raj Kumar Gupta’s ‘Ghanchakkar’ – in which she stars alongside Emraan Hashmi. Recently, she was seen promoting the film at a suburban mall.
Vidya Balan’s character in the film is a loud Punjabi wife with a disastrous fashion sense. She has ensured that she maintains her character even during the promotions.
The actress, who has been on a spree of hit films over the past few years, was dressed in a poncho-top made up of Charlie Chaplin film posters, black leggings and black peep-toe pumps. This was topped with a splash of orange in her accessories. It was loud and gaudy, exactly as her character in the film demanded.
The ‘Kahaani’ star was seen interacting with children and parents, who even presented a bouquet to her. This is probably the last stage of the ‘Ghanchakkar’ promotions and we hope to see Vidya Balan in some tasteful clothes again.
