MUMBAI: Remember the Akshay-Katrina comic caper ‘Welcome’ directed by Anees Bazme? The ‘Welcome’ team is back with a bang.
While Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar are set to reprise their classic comic act, John Abraham and Shruthi Haasan replace Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif respectively.
The first look of the sequel titled ‘Welcome Back’ was unveiled at Mumbai today.
Also present at the event was director Anees Bazmee, Paresh Rawal and director Anil Sharma.
It needs to be seen if John, Shruthi, Anil and Nana succeed in saying ‘Welcome Back’ to audiences as well just like its predecessor ‘Welcome’.
‘Welcome Back’ will release in March 2014. The film will be directed by Anees Bazmee, who directed ‘Welcome’ and produced by Firoz. A. Nadiadwala.
