But, then the ab again created a controversy proving Salman Khan wrong, with Shah Rukh Khan showing them off in Google headquarters in California, US where Team Happy New Year, including Deepika Padukone, Farah Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah, were promoting their movie.
Shah Rukh Khan has an amazing fan following in the US which was clearly visible through his SLAM tours, and that Happy New Year was the first Bollywood movie to be promoted at the ultimate Google headquarters, followed by Twitter headquarters.
Shah Rukh Khan did not only interact with his fans, but also told them about his amazing journey towards becoming the King of Bollywood (which the others did, too) and about how he wanted to become a software engineer, so much that he ended up giving an IIT exam. Well, thank God, he did not become a software engineer else Bollywood would be incomplete without the Baadshah.
On reaching the Twitter headquarters, Shah Rukh Khan received a personalized gift in the form of a sweatshirt and a coffee mug bearing his twitter handle @iamsrk on both the items.
Happy New Year, directed by Farah Khan, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and distributed by Yash Raj Films, is set to release this Diwali, i.e. October 24, 2014. The Bollywood action comedy- drama film is about a team of losers win the love of millions in their quest to pull off the biggest diamond heist ever.
