Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Rustom‘ directed by Neeraj Pandey, will not just have a strong romantic plot but also a thrilling murder mystery, which is reportedly based on a real life incident.

Recently, the actor shared a deadly poster of his film with a caption, “3 shots that shocked the nation and changed his life! Find out what happened with #Rustom this August 12, 2016.”


The poster of the film showcases that its yet another patriotic film with Akshay Kumar in a navy officer look. Though the storyline of the film has been kept under wraps, but the recent poster of the film showcases that the film is been inspired by a real life incident. Digging on the same, we came across a story which showcases that the film is based on 1959 Nanavati Case of Naval Officer Kawas Maneckshaw Nanavati who was arested for murdering his wife’s lover – Prem Ahuja.
