Happy New Year02[tps_footer]Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan collaborations are anything but unpredictable. They believe in making feel good comedy entertainers and stick to them by principle. So witnessing a few Farah-Shah Rukh staples in all their films is something we have gotten used to. But Happy New Year pleasantly surprises us. Here are some clichés Happy New Year stayed away from.

  1. Everyone’s characters have been beautifully introduced. It is a Shah Rukh Khan film and he has all the right to grab every limelight possible but he lets his co-stars get equal share.
  2. Deepika Padukone continues to have an accent here too but has been given a completely different look of a bar dancer.
  3. Abhishek Bachchan in a double role. Now that’s how large hearted our King is!
  4. There’s no Honey Singh presence which is such a relief we tell you!
  5. Sonu Sood as meek Sunny Deol….stunning!

All in all, the trailer managed to garner maximum eyeballs. And to tell you the truth, the event was organised fascinatingly. The grandeur from trailer seemed to have transcended to the event venue!
