‘Dangal’ has been generating a lot of buzz for a lot of reasons including the fact that Aamir had to beef up for his character in the film. In the movie, Khan will be seen essaying the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat. Geeta Phogat was India’s first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she won the gold medal while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver. Apart from the fact that the storyline is gripping, we’re excited to see Aamir take on a role that he has never done before.
The first poster of Dangal is already out and it is seen to be garnering a lot of buzz. While the dates of the film were constantly being changed, the release is set to be for 23rd of December this year.[/tps_footer]
