Aditya Roy Kapur is gearing up to get audience’s reaction to his film Dawaat-e-Ishq. His next on cards is Fitoor which seems to be badly jinxed. The film has been in the news for a lot of time. In fact, post Kai Po Che! Abhishek Kapoor was quick to announce it but later no more devemopments were noticed.
Intially, Sushant Singh Rajput was supposed to do the film alongside Katrina Kaif. But the actor suddenly bowed out of it apparently straining relations with Abhishek. The latter then signed Aditya Roy Kapur for the same. With the lead sorted out, it was confirmed female lead that supposedly gave the makers some grief. It was apparently getting difficult to get Kat’s dates which put everything in limbo. In fact, there were reports of Fitoor getting shelved.
However, the makers asserted that the film will go on the floors by mid-2014. But that didn’t happen, and we were told the film will roll this October. Now the film has hit another roadblock with the Jammu And Kashmir floods. Fitoor was supposed to be shot in Kashmir and Aditya and Abhishek had done the recce. We wonder if the film will get made eventually.
