Anushka Sharma’s NH10 got amazing reviews by the Bollywood industry as well as by the audiences. Post success of the thriller film, the makers of the movie have decided to come up with a sequel titled NH12.

According to the reports, Madhu Mantena of Phantom Films and also co producer of NH10 confirmed the title and have also planned a series of the road film. He said that the idea is to make a franchise out of road films a genre that’s under-utilised in Bollywood, but one that has a lot of potential. According to him NH12 will explore another dark theme.

He also said that the team is pleased with the response for NH10 has generated and are ready to take it forward.
Talking about NH10, the movie featured Anushka Sharma and Neil Bhoopalam in the lead roles. It tells the story of a young couple whose road trip goes awry after an encounter with a group of violent criminals. The film is inspired from 2008 British thriller Eden Lake.
NH10 exploring the themes of feminism, is a social commentary on the plight of women in a male dominated society. The film was released on March 13, 2015.
