“I’ve never visited Kashmir. My father went to college in Srinagar. I was waiting for a chance to visit the city that my parents speak so fondly of,” says Ali Fazal.

Ali Fazal, born in Lucknow says that he was thrilled when producer Mukesh Bhatt announced that this film would be shot in Kashmir. “We will be shooting for fifteen days in September in Kashmir. It’ll be a learning experience. Mahesh Sahab comes regularly on the sets. Vikram Bhatt is there. It’s like being in cinema school,” says Ali, who’s next release is a Rohan Sippy production.

Ali Fazal will also be seen sharing screen space with Paul Walker and Kurt Russell in Fast And Furious 7. He has a cameo in the 7th installment and stated that he shall always cherish the time he got to spent with the cast; especially Paul Walker, who was killed in an accident in November last year.

“I am done shooting for the film. I had shot last year when Paul Walker was around and then finally wrapped up shooting two months ago. It is a guest appearance, so I would not like to make a huge cry about it,” stated an up beat Ali Fazal.

Ali Fazal revealed that he had sent his audition video for the film in an extremely unfortunate situation and was sure he would not get the role, as his interpretation of the scene was a far cry from what it originally was.

Ali Fazal, whose latest film Bobby Jasoos opposite Vidya Balan has had a dull opening, and does not mind being part of Hollywood ventures but is more keen to find his place in Bollywood.

Here’s wishing Ali Fazal all the best for his future.[/tps_footer]
