[tps_footer]Just a few days left for 2 States to hit the silver screen and both the lead actors, Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor and doing all that they can to promote their film. Recently both Alia and Arjun were at Radio Mirchi where they interacted with their fans via live chat.
Alia Bhatt was at her stylish best in an orange shirt, short skirt and strappy heels while Arjun looked cool in in casuals.
Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt do make a cute couple onscreen and off screen too. While the two have been linked up thanks to their sizzling chemistry in Abhishek Varman’s directorial venture 2 States, neither Arjun nor Alia have admitted being in a relationship.
Rumours have been doing the rounds that the two are in a relationship off-screen too, but Arjun recently denied that saying, “Why do you think this way? Alia and I are friends; we had great time working together.”
Arjun was addressed as Baba; the name of his character in Gunday, by lots of his fans who called to talk to their favourite star. “If you are known by the name of the character, it is really flattering. It means that you have done justice to the character you played on screen,” said a visibly flattered Arjun post the radio chat.
On the other hand, Alia Bhatt sang Sooha Saha for her film Highway and stated that to play the role of a south Indian girl, she had to learn a few Tamil phrases and also try and master few very basic Bharatanatyam steps.
“It’s a very refined form of dance, and one cannot learn it in few days, but I did watch dance videos of Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan so that I can give my best. I do want to create my own identity. I only want to be a good actor. Though people talk so highly about me after seeing my performance in Highway, I still remember the time when my first film released and people would say that she won’t go long and is not a good actor.” stated Alia.
