[tps_footer]Amitabh Bachchan along with Bad Man Gulshan Grover recently unveiled the first look of their film Leader.
Leader focuses on the journey of an honest man who becomes a leader for his family and people as he fights against evil forces working in the society.
The film, which also stars Jaya Bachchan, Dinesh Lal and Pakhi Hegde in the lead, is written and directed by Abhishek Chadha and is produced by Deepak Sawant, who has been Mr. Bachchan’s personal make-up artist since more than two decades.
Speaking on the occasion, Amitabh Bachchan said, “I wish luck to all the actors standing on stage who have immensely contributed towards the making of the film, and I hope this film will be accepted by all in a manner similar to the accolades and success received by the previous Bhojpuri film.”
Amitabh Bachchan, in fact, starred in all four films that Deepak Sawant has produced so far; this includes his three Bhojpuri films and one Marathi film. “As far as Mr. Bachchan is concerned, he always plays a pivotal character in my films. So does Jayaji,” says a very proud Deepak Sawant.
Actor Gulshan Grover, who is playing an evil politician in the film said, “I am really happy that I had an opportunity of working with such renowned actors and be a part of the film.”
Gulshan Grover had to nearly run to the venue to ensure his presence at the appointed hour because he did not want Mr. Bachchan to wait for him. Now Gulshan Grover’s car was caught in a serious evening traffic jam at Juhu, Mumbai. Also it’s a know fact that Amitabh Bachchan is very punctual about timings. As a mark of respect towards the superstar, Gulshan did all that he could and reached the venue before Mr. Bachchan who was caught in traffic.
Deepak Sawant already has four movies to his name: Ganga Devi, Gangotri, Ganga and Akka.
