Amitabh Bachchan has already started to prepare for the eighth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Amitabh Bachchan shot for the promos of the eight season of popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati also referred to as KBC.
Kaun Banega Crorepati is the Indian adaptation of the internationally popular format of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. Mr. Bachchan has hosted six seasons of the show, except for the third edition, which was hosted by Shah Rukh Khan.
It was a packed day as usual for Mr. Bachchan as she has loads to do. Just prior to the shoot Amitabh Bachchan, who is very active on twitter wrote, “The early morning shoot for the promos of the fresh season of Kaun Banega Crorepati were accomplished.”
Post the shoot he has to rush to the launch of Prem Chopra’s autobiography and he once again tweeted, “Rushed then to the PVR to attend the cleaned up version of Bombay to Goa by dear friend Anwar Ali, brother of Mehmood Bhai one of the greatest we have had and then quickly battle the traffic after to greet another dear friend and now family, Prem Chopra who releases his biography.”
At the event when Mr. Bachchan was asked about the changing face of cinema, he said, “Marketing is an important tool. Television medium are also grown up. Earlier there was only one government channel and now we have aboyt five hundred. In the past movies run for long, people had time and they saw the movie again and again but now a days, you can watch anything on youtube or television at home only. This reduces films life and now films earn only one or two weeks.”
Post the launch event, Mr. Bachchan had a look test for R. Balki’s film that stars Dhanush and Akshara Haasan and once again he wrote, “That over a meet with people from distant worlds, admirers that have long been desiring a personal interaction… switched soon thereafter to a make-up room for the look test for Balki’s film, which I start shooting within a week.”
His day ended on a very excited note as he saw Bhoothnath Returns at the private theatre at home with the kids and family.
