Recently Aaradhya Bachchan celebrated a grand birthday (Bollywood Star Kids At Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Daughter Aaradhya’s Birthday Bash) which seems to get to grand father megastar Amitabh Bachchan‘s mind!
Amitabh Bachchan recalls the time of independence in Kolkata, when Kolkata was not only the most magnificient but also the most happening city in the entire country, of the time.
Amitabh Bachchan is currently shooting for Shoojit Sircar‘s Piku along with 5-film hit Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, both who were seen having a strong bond (Amitabh Bachchan’s Affectionate Hug To Deepika Padukone On Piku Sets). While Amitabh Bachchan had come at the launch of first look of Bengali film ‘Open Tee Bioscope‘, he expressed his then thought process of how he along with the whole of India had received independence after leading a very cocooned life for years.

Amitabh Bachchan also spoke his heart out while saying, “When you are a kid, our parents and elders ask a question- what are you going to be when you grow up? You never have an answer. And today, at 73, I have an answer- I want to be a kid again.” Adding to it, he mentioned, “It was a great joy and yes we were young, we were single and we were independent. We did many things which can’t be narrated here.”
His frustration with his current busy movie life was clearly visible as he said, “After working for the entire day, we think we are working for a living or are we living for work?”
Amitabh Bachchan, son of the late legendary poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan has carved his way to become the megastar of Bollywood. He is currently busy with 3 movies- the shooting of Do alongside Farhan Akhtar, Shamitabh alongside south superstar Dhanush (it was also see Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan come together on screen after many years) and Piku alongside Deepika Padukone.
