Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary seventy one year old actor who has worked for over four decades, regrets his decision taken earlier in the 1990s. He feels that staying away from his passion- cinema was his biggest mistake.
He is reported to have expressed his regret, “I thought on those lines few years ago in 90s which was a big mistake. I shouldn’t have done that. Now I want to continue.” The seasoned actor has more than enough on his plate and has the zeal of a twenty year old man.
Being a super star, having tasted success several times and having worked relentlessly on all his projects says he still gets jittery before any new release of his.
Amitabh Bachchan said in an interview “We are always anxious about every product we do. It is like an examination for us, a test and we are anxious to know whether the work we have done is appreciated by the audience or not.” Senior Bachchan is currently in Australia attending the IIFM Indian Film Festival of Melbourne where he was honoured with the International Screen Icon Award.
After his recent released Bhootnath Returns, Bachchan has new assignments back to back including three films with R Balki, Shoojit Sircar and Vidhu Vinod Chopra. He is also working on a television serial. In August we will see him in the iconic Kaun Banega Crorepati.
