MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Angela Jonsson has created history by being the first underwater cover girl for Grazia Magazine!
The fashion and beauty magazine came up with the innovative underwater cover shoot, and gracing their March 2013 cover was none other than Bollywood beauty Angela Jonsson, looking stunning in an aquamarine blue swarovski-crystal studded Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna swimsuit.
The picture was shot aesthetically underwater by ace fashion photographer Colston Julian.
Looking gorgeous at the magazine cover launch was Angela, in a beautiful ruby red mini dress and a pair of dainty grey pumps.
Also seen at the launch was Grazia Fashion Director Ekta Rajani, fashionably attired in a pair of maroon jeggings and a velvet blue shirt.
Angela Jonsson shot to fame when she bagged the title of Kingfisher Calendar girl in 2011. Since then, she’s been eyeing a career in Bollywood. She had even reportedly signed on the dotted line for three films, starring opposite the mighty ‘Tiger’ of Bollywood: Salman Khan himself. So far, she is yet to be seen on the big screen.
Rumours were rife that Angela was the first choice for Sohail Khan’s film starring his brother Salman, but then reports suggested that ‘Bigg Boss’ reality TV star Karishma Kotak had replaced her.
Clarified Sohail, a bit irritatedly: “I am quite fed up of the rumours. First the media gives my film titles like ‘Sher Khan’, then ‘Radhe’, then ‘Mental’. Now they’ve even given me a leading lady. There are so many rumours about my film, I’ve given up!”
