MUMBAI: ‘Chennai Express’ is on a record-breaking spree. The film within a week of its release has managed to collect a whopping Rs 150 crore plus at the box-office. The most happiest of the makers is none other than Shah Rukh Khan himself.
So much that he says he will miss seeing Rohit Shetty and Deepika Padukone regularly now and the fun they had on the sets.
In the age of sequels and the success that Rohit Shetty and Shah Rukh Khan have garnered with ‘Chennai Express’, the former does not shy away from ruling a sequel to the film.
Shah Rukh Khan though says, “It may not be a sequel though, some other film maybe. InshaAllah!”
Rohit Shetty is soon going to start with Singam 2 with Ajay Devgn and plans to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan for the next film early next year.
Meanwhile there are already several directors waiting to work with Shah Rukh Khan that include the likes of Farhan Akhtar, Anurag Basu, Abhinav Kashyap and many more.
“I like all of them and we need to work out things. More than films, it’s about four-five people sitting and chatting. My logic is very clear. Do the film when you are doing the film with me. And when we are happy doing it”, says Shah Rukh Khan.
With ‘Chennai Express’ already setting fire at the box-office we wonder what Shah Rukh Khan’s next journey is going to be like? For now it’s more records and accolades for Shah Rukh Khan that follow.
