Arjun Rampal, Chitrangada’s ‘Inkaar’ Promo Made Modest For ‘U’ Certificate

Bollywood stars Arjun Rampal and Chitrangada Singh were spotted at a radio station recently, for promoting their upcoming 'Inkaar'.

[imagebrowser id=272] MUMBAI: Bollywood’s and Sudhir Mishra’s latest offering, ‘Inkaar’ has already seen a fair bit of buzz and anticipation in the industry. The film, which deals with the controversial topic of sexual exploitation at the workplace, has begun its promotional rounds.

Sudhir Mishra’s edgy film about the casting couch in the corporate world is being pegged as a romantic crime film, probably among the first that we will see in India.

We spotted Inkaar’s sexy stars, Arjun Rampal and Chitrangada Singh at the studios of Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. Chitrangada wowed us with her nerdy-chic high-street fashion brand Zara ensemble: a pair of denims, a black tee, a printed blazer on top and a pair of oversized reading glasses. Chitrangada then repeated almost her entire outfit at the ‘Dabangg 2’ premiere held later; but she swapped the Zara blazer for a white one instead.

Arjun Rampal literally made the women at Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM swoon, with his charm and sex appeal. Clad in a navy blue button-down shirt and beige trousers, Arjun sexed up his look with a pair of sunglasses. A couple of wooden bracelets on his wrist, and his tattoos on full display, and we just couldn’t tear our eyes off him.

Inkaar’s director, Sudhir Mishra too came along for the film promotions. The trio looked uber comfortable in the plush Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM studios, and spoke at length about all things ‘Inkaar’.

Reportedly, the film’s promo was too hot to handle for the Censor Board, and it was awarded an ‘A’ certificate.  An ‘A’ certificate would spell doom:  which inevitably means that they could not air it on TV channels till late in the night.

A source revealed the cause for the ‘A’ certificate, “In the promo, Chitrangadha asks Arjun Rampal, ‘Agar mein tumhare saath so jayungi to sab theek ho jayega?’ The board had an objection to this line. Hence the ‘A’.”

However, Sudhir Mishra quickly jumped into action and re-dubbed the promo and cut out the controversial sentence. Eventually, the promo received a ‘U’ rating.
