As soon as the news about the two most awaited films of the year, Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani going against each other at the Box Office on December 18 broke out, fans went gaga. Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer film was initially expected to release on Christmas, on December 25 but later, the makers of the film revealed December 18 to be the official release date of the film.
Now, December 18 also happens to be Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s upcoming film Bajirao Mastani’s release date. So, the two films are up against each other at the Box Office but according to recent reports, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has decided to postpone his film to avoid the clash!
Seems like Sanjay Leela Bhansali hasn’t yet forgotten the battle that went down between his film Sawaariya and Shah Rukh Khan’s film Om Shanti Om, as Bhansali is still very keen on releasing his film with no war at the Box Office, and has decided to postpone the release of Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh starrer film Bajirao Mastani to 2016. If these reports are anywhere to be true, one of the biggest films of the year, Dilwale, will enjoy a solo release this year.

If you remember well, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had earlier announced that his much awaited film was to release on December 25 but soon enough the reports about Rohit Shetty’s Diwale also releasing the same day broke out, then Bhansali pre-poned the release date of his film to December 18.
To avoid the clash with Shah Rukh Khan Dilwale, Bhansali picked December 18 to release his film. But fate had something else in mind and only recently Red Chilies announced that their film will also hit the theatres on December 18. Now this came as a big shock to filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, as the director tried every caution to not have a clash and enjoy a single release, yet, Dilwale and his film ended up sharing the same release date. However, the director hasn’t yet made any confirmations about reports.
