The Sultan actor recently entered into the ongoing debate on banning Pakistani actors from working in Bollywood. The actor received lots of criticism from the political parties after his comment on banning Pakistani artistes in India. At an event in Delhi recently, Salman Khan was asked to comment on the ongoing debate. The actor said “They were terrorists, these are artistes. Two different issues.” When asked to elaborate, Mr. Khan said, “Are these artistes terrorists? They come here on a visa, who gives them that visa? Our government gives them visas.”
Soon Salman Khan received flak from all the political parties. Even RajThackeray slammed Salman Khan over speaking in support of Pakistani actors. Shiv Sena on Saturday said that Salman Khan too should migrate to Pakistan if he likes the Pakistani actors so much.
