MUMBAI: In the spirit of March being Women’s Day month, Bollywood celebrities Sonam Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Farhan Akhtar and many others came together to support the L’Oreal Paris Femina Women Awards.
Vidya Balan, the much-loved Bollywood newlywed was seen in her staple wardrobe choice: a signature Sabyasachi sari, and a shock full of curly hair. The beautiful Mrs. Balan Roy Kapur glided down the red carpet, and took our melting hearts with her.
Sonam Kapoor chose a very fashionable, very avant garde yet vintage Atsu Sekhose creation: a top made of black lace and large studded stones, and a skirt which was floral, printed and asymmetrical. Such a stunning outfit, this!
Farhan Akhtar too was spotted at the L’Oreal Paris Femina Women Awards, to reinforce the work he’s been doing silently for his signature campaign ‘Men Against Rape and Discrimination’ or ‘MARD’.
Also present at the L’Oreal Paris Femina Women Awards were singer Sona Mohapatra, designer Manish Malhotra, TV actress Sakshi Tanwar, and 2012’s surprise-hit director Gauri Shinde
Shabana Azmi (in candyfloss pink!), Aditi Rao Hydari, Kabir Khan and his lovely wife Mini Mathur, Lisa Haydon, Neha Dhupia, and Kunal Kapoor also attended the awards night.
