Bombay HC To Decide Salman Khan’s Fate In The Hit And Run Case Next Week

Salman-Hit-&-Run[tps_footer]On Thursday, the prosecution in the Salman Khan’s 2002 accident case came to a conclusion and wrapped up its argument in the case. The prosecution in its conclusion stated that the actor was drunk during the time of the accident and it was he who was responsible for the accident.

The prosecution in its conclusion argument also remarked that no mercy should be shown to the actor in the 2002 hit and run case and for him being convicted of five years of jail. Salman Khan’s 2002 hit and run case came to end on May 6, where session court found him guilty and sentenced him for five years jail, convicted under all charges.

Justice A R Joshi is hearing the actor’s appeal against the conviction. Earlier this week, the prosecution had also discarded the defence theory to witness singer Kamaal Khan who was present in the car during the accident according to the police records.

Also, the Supreme Court yet again refused to entertain a plea seeking cancellation of bail granted to Salman Khan for being convicted of all the charges on May 8th this year.

Defence lawyer Amit Desai argued that there have been several discrepancies in the case from the beginning. The crucial judgment is likely to happen next week.

The court is currently hearing Salman’s appeal against the five-year sentence. Salman Khan’s car had met with accident in suburban Bandra on September 28, 2002, killing one person and injuring four. 13 years after the trial began, Salman Khan’s 2002 hit and run case came to end onMay 6 where session court found him guilty and sentenced him for five years jail, convicted under all charges.
