Aamir Khan’s Dangal is breaking records at the Box Office post the release in China.

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan’s Dangal is unstoppable in China. The film is earning in a massive way with each passing day ever since its release this month. Aamir Khan’s Dangal is on an unthinkable run at the Box Office in China while the worldwide collections are on another level now.

The film, which released on April 5th in China across 9000 screens is soaring high at the Box Office. In about a week’s time, Dangal had collected around Rs 300 crore nett approx. at China Box Office. With China release, the worldwide collections of the film have gone to another level.

According to reports, Dangal is the 33rd film in Chinese cinema history to cross one Billion RMB, which in Indian currency amounts to about Rs 1000 crore. Not only in China, Dangal has created history in the Indian Cinema with its total worldwide collection. Dangal is the first Indian Movie to enter Rs 1700 crore worldwide gross Box Office collection club.

In a 2015 interview to IANS right after “PK” managed over a sixth of its Rs 600 crore ($94 million)-plus earnings from China alone, Aamir had discussed how people there had historically loved Indian films.

”I think the people of China and India seem to have a connect, which is emotional, cultural, and they are quite similar people,” the actor, whose “3 Idiots” and “Dhoom 3” also did well in China, had told IANS.

On a related note, ‘ Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ which became the first Indian movie to cross Rs 1500 crores worldwide, is yet to release in China.
