Finally, the film has crossed the mark of Rs 50 crore and is expected to show the same growth in the coming days. The gap between Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay’s collection is very close, which means the real battle at the box office has begun now.
Shivaay saw a low weekend but the Monday collections of the film have finally given momentum to the action thriller film. Earlier, only single screens were helping the film, now, finally, the multiplexes have come to fore. Shivaay managed to collect Rs 9 crore (90 million) net approx. on Friday, Rs 8.25 crore (82.5 million) net approx. on Saturday and Rs. 6.50 crore (65 million) net approx. on Sunday and Rs. 15.75 crore (157.5 million) net approx. on Monday.
Well, with the positive reviews and word of mouth publicity, the movie is expected to see a growth in the coming week. Now whether the collections of film proceed on a low scale or see a high jump, only time will tell.
