The light-hearted romantic comedy was not much on the minds of the masses because of the films ‘Rustom’ and ‘Mohenjo Daro’. Nevertheless, the film worked well because of its entertaining concept and plot.

The reviews of the film were positive and even with a lack of high-end promotions; the film saw considerable crowds at the screens. The film had one more challenge in its way with the release of Tiger Shroff’s ‘A Flying Jatt’. The superhero film did not gain much audience because of lack of positive word of mouth publicity.
A Flying Jatt’s not so successful numbers were a boon for ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’. The Abhay Deol starrer film has seen low earnings in the second weekend with a drop of 60%. The movie is garnering most of its numbers from the areas of East Punjab and Delhi. The areas of Mumbai have also seen good figures.

The collection of the film ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ for the first week is Rs.17.48 crore net approx. The day wise collection of the film for the second weekend is Rs.1 crore net approx. on Friday, Rs.1.50 crore net approx. on Saturday and Rs.1.75 crore net approx. on Sunday. The total second-weekend collection comes to Rs.4.25 crore net approx.
The overall earning of ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ until now is Rs.21.73 crore net approx.
The film is expected to cross the mark of 25 crore easily. It will be a fair hit at the box office if it reaches the 30 crore mark.[/tps_footer]
