Pahlaj Nihalani, who is the head of the Central Board Of Film Certification, is highly popular for being unfair to films especially in recent times after Udta Punjab. But after Befikre, everybody seemed to be astonished over how he approved the most talked about scene in Befikre where Ranveer Singh comes out of the room and exposes his but* in the film. The scene left people flabbergasted and thinking as to how did it happen.
Well! the CBFC seems to understand the concept of love making scene in a romantic comic like Befikre. Let’s see how!
When Pahlaj Nihalani was asked about how he approved the b*tt showoff, he said..

Pahlaj Nihalani said that the committee shortened Ranveer Singh‘s scene quite short and it seems like just a glimpse, so what’s wrong with it. Moreover, he said that the character is alone in his room and they’re doing what couples do when they’re alone so why is a b*tt objectionable when but* scenes in Hollywood have already passed the CBFC test successfully along with Bollywood filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar‘s Jail.
Of course there is nothing wrong in showing a b*tt, but then what was wrong with Shahid Kapoor‘s toilet scene in Udta Punjab where not even one body part was exposed.
When Pahlaj Nihalani was asked to comment more on Befikre, he said the kissing scenes in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Spectre and Tamasha were very long whereas Befikre‘s kissing scenes are scattered such that they narrate a story. Pahlaj Nihalani said that he is a filmmaker himself and he understands the essence of a story in a flow. He said Aditya Chopra has treated the kisses as narration of the story and if those kissing scenes were removed then the story would have not been narrative.
Isn’t this somewhere a partiality towards the other filmmakers that struggle with their content?
Now that Pahlaj Nihalani encourages n*dity, let’s see how many films get a smooth passage with their film in future especially with respect to a narrative flow.
