Vipul Gupta is a very talented and renowned artist, choreographer and a budding director from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. He started his journey as a choreographer who went Mumbai after completing graduation to chase his dreams. He has always been passionate about dance and has considered it as his first love. Vipul started performing on stage from an early age; the young boy never took a formal training but always believed in his talent, passion and hard work which kept him motivated through his journey. As a child he was always drawn towards performing arts and theatre. Time flew by and Vipul started performing and took part in several school and college events, he found his interest in mime, drama, acting and of course dance!
As a teenager he used to watch dance videos and was inspired by the famous bollywood choreographers such as Remo D’Souza, Rahul and Paul. He always dreamt of working with these legends by hook or by crook, he worked really hard and practiced for hours to meet and work with his idols some day! And as it is said that Fortune always favours the Hard Worker, Vipul has now finally started working with them. He has been co-coordinating, choreographing and took the opportunity to work with the selection panel of Dance India Dance judgment tours. He has also showcased his talent in the reality shows such as – Jhalak Dikhla Ja, Indian Idol and India Ke Mastkalandar.
If we talk about Vipul as a normal guy of his early 20’s, he loves to travel, read as much as he can and shares a little corner of his for cricket. He is a very good cricket player and often mentions that if the chords were not stringed for dance he would have chosen cricket as his career. He also believes that travel is one of those things which kept him sane all this while in busy schedule, it helps him to create a positive environment and nature motivates him to become a good human every day. Vipul is an animal lover and owns a Persian cat and a German shepherd named ‘Captain’ and ‘Jack’ respectively.
Vipul is a believer, learner and a very keen observer. He always believes in learning, visualizing and implementing new and creative ideas wherever he goes and especially whenever he works on his new projects, he keeps on trying to make the ideas look beautiful and aesthetic when it comes to present on practical grounds. He is a multitasker who keeps on thinking and chasing creative thoughts to try hands on new things every now and then. He is an eager and fast learner who believes in learning the whereabouts of his career field, he has recently developed interest in direction and has directed multiple music videos and assisted in the making of few ad films as well.
Gupta is a kind hearted and caring person; he loves to help the society whenever it is possible for him. He has conducted a lot of dance workshops to raise the funds to provide a help hand whenever possible. Recently, he has organized a dance workshop wherein celebrities like Mayusresh Wadekar, Alisha Singh, Abhishek Das, Wild Ripperz and his own mentor Paul Marshal took part and supported him to raise money and help the families of Phulwama Attack martiyars.
