The Bangalore Times Fashion Week ended on a high note at Sheraton Grand Hotel. The 2 day long fashion extravaganza was a celebration of creativity and style. Fashion greats such as Gauri and Nainika, Rocky S and Pahal designs as well as talented designers like Aryan G Naidu, Sakhi and Shipi Chaudhary lit the ramps with their eye catching collections.
The extravaganza kicked off on Day 1 with none other than Pahal Designs, who showcased Govind Kumar Singh’s “Diva Swapnam” collection. The royal creations presented a contemporary vibe with the prints and fabrics where as the embroidery with an inspiration from Indian heritage, Bollywood Diva Mugda Godse Sheoranenthralled the audience as she floated across the runway.
Arjun G Naidu’s collection of earthy tones on handcrafted Indian fabrics brought out the current trend in aesthetically appealing his latest line“Uptight Desi”. The fabulous designs by Fulki made women swoon and Swarovski encrusted Bandhgalas by Monoviraj Khosla set the Ramps on fire. Rocky S flaunting his luxurious Satin collection of maroon and gold in Zardosi and Oxidised ornamental embroidery flawlessly carried by Anandrita Roy ending a successful day 1.
Day 2 saw Koskii, Indralokk, Heart Of Gold and more showcase some innovative collections.
Wendell Rodrick’s Rainbow warriors collection came out as an true testament to the 377 verdict victory,Goan beach meets cape gown in a riot of rainbow colours on white. Shreya Rao gave his collection a whole new attitude. Gauri and Nainika lined up floor by glazing gowns with trailing bows which were dramatically carried by Showstopper Chitrangada Singh.
Koskii created true trousseau fits for contemporary princesses with graceful stone work where as
C. Krishniah chetty jewellery stood out along with Soles featuring their high fashion footwear, Style aura showcasing Energetic contemporary jewellery not missing out on the Highlighting and Contouring personified by Zorain Khaleeli.
