Dangal Girl Zaira Wasim Meets With An Accident, Gets Rescued

Zaira Wasim’s car met with an accident, the actress got saved luckily!

Zaira Wasim, who acted in Aamir Khan’s Dangal, met with an accident this Thursday, at Dal Lake, in Kashmir. The 16 year old actress was on the Boulevard Road in Srinagar when her car fell into the lake. It went out of the driver’s control and thus the accident happened.

Zaira was rescued safely from the mishap along with the people with whom she was travelling.
IANS quoted a local saying, “Locals immediately rescued her and her companion. She escaped unhurt, but her companion sustained injuries in the accident.”

Another witness was quoted by Tribune saying, “Both of them survived but her friend suffered several injuries.”

Zaira played the role of Aamir Khan’s daughter in Dangal. She was portraying the role of younger Geeta Phogat in Mahavir Singh Phogat’s biopic. Her performance was highly appreciated by the people and she even won herself a National Award for this in the Best Supporting Actress category.

After winning the award, she had said, “It is very encouraging to receive an award of this stature in my debut film, the appreciation has only got me more excited to work harder.”

She was also quoted by IANS saying, “I hate to watch myself on the screen. It’s annoying and embarrassing. I never watch my interviews. I am even scared to watch my film.”
