The Happy New Year actress Deepika Padukone is all set to surprise the audience in Piku. This diva drops down her usual glamour look and adapts to a simple Bengali girl persona in her next opposite Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan.
Well, to make her role realistic Deepika Padukone is learning the Bengali accent to finesse and trying her best to deliver it in her dialogues. When she was in Kolkatta for the Piku shoot, she use to sit down with Moushumi di between shots and learn the language.

When Deepika Padukone was asked about the same she confirmed the news saying that, “Audience have seen me as a Tamilian, a Maharashtrian, a Gujrati, a Goan and now they will see me as Bengali. It’s a fun to learn new language, as it’s a different experience. Also Bengali is a really sweet, soft and lovely language. The overall experience is fun.”
Recently, even Amitabh Bachchan learnt Sitar for his role in Piku. Seems like everyone in the movie is giving their best for their roles and taking the opportunity to learn new things. Also Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan were spotted shooting together at the railway tracks for the movie. The shoots and looks of movie reveal to us some outstanding performances on the way and a good movie for the audience to watch out for.
We wish Deepika Padukone delivers the best in this role also considering her earlier films all the roles were well accepted and her accent was applauded we just hope the same for Piku too.
