Dia has directed her first film titled Kids For Tiger. The film is an initiative for the occasion of World Tiger Day. The short film concentrates on the conservation of nature and wildlife.

The children in the short film will surely make you think about the importance of nature. On expressing about this directorial debut Dia Mirza shared a few thoughts too. The talented actress said, “It is an incredible programme, which I’m sure will have a huge impact on kids. It will teach them how they should respond to nature. Kids are insightful and intuitive. They understand that doing something to nature is like doing the same to ourselves.”

On shooting the glimpse with 20 kids Dia expressed, “I think I was being ambitious when I decided to do the ad with 20 kids (laughs). But I went in with an open mind. The idea was to go with the flow. Kids have a mind of their own, which is great. No amount of prepping can prepare you for the kind of magic they bring with them.”
Dia Mirza also confessed that she would not jump to directing a feature film right away but she has a story in mind which she will one day execute.
