Diljit Dosanjh was not allowed to promote Phillauri on Kapil Sharma Show.
Anushka Sharma along with co-star Diljit Dosanjh has been busy with the promotions of her upcoming film, Phillauri. The actress is seen visiting every corner for the promotions. But recently surprised everyone with her solo appearance on “The Kapil Sharma Show”.
The actress left many wondered with her solo appearance and the audience was quite upset due to Diljit‘s absence on the comedy show. Now according to reports, the apparent reason for Diljit not going to Kapil‘s show is due to Colors channel. Yes, you read that right!

Diljit has his contract with Colors channel. He is currently a judge on the singing reality show, The Rising Star. Reportedly, the makers of the show have restricted Diljit to visit any other channel for film promotions.
Well, since things turned sour between Kapil Sharma and Colors’ CEO Raj Nayak, the stars associated with the channel have to suffer during the promotions of their film. This is not for the first time. Earlier, many Bollywood stars had to go through this tough situation and get trapped between their animosity.
Talking about their upcoming film Phillauri, Anushka is playing a friendly neighbourhood spirit in the movie. Film is directed by debutant Anshai Lal, written by Anvita Dutt and produced by Fox Star Studios and Clean Slate Films (Anushka’s production banner with brother Karnesh Sharma). Phillauri is set to release worldwide on March 24, 2017.
