The legendary filmmaker Shyam Benegal is planning to produce a film based on Indo-Pak relations and if the reports are to be believed, the film has also got an interesting title called Yeh Raaste Hain Pyar Ke. The film will be a cross-border story of two musicians and their journey of self-discovery. It is believed that the film will be helmed by Harsh Narayan who has played a key role in strengthening relations between both the countries since 15 years.
Interestingly, Fawad Khan is in talks to play the lead role since the last three months and the actor has also read the script of the film and is considering doing the film since then. When being asked if Fawad is taken on board for the project, the director said, “At the moment, he is sceptical about reactions to him working in an Indo-Pak co-production. He has shown a keen interest and will respond as soon as the present situation cools down.” The project has also got a support from Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri, former Foreign Minister of Pakistan.
It would be interesting to see if the makers of the film are successful in creating harmony between both the nations. Also, it is still not known which Bollywood actor would be seen with Fawad Khan in this film based on Indo-Pak relations.
